Knowing Yourself is the Beginning of All Wisdom | EMyth

Your business is a reflection of your views, attitudes, beliefs, thoughts, fears, worries, wishes and more. And whether or not you're aware of it, all of these things come together to shape your mindset, which has a real impact on your business. If you want to achieve all that you dreamed of when you set out on your own, you need see how this truth is showing up in how you lead.

You have a choice. You can choose to not consider how your business is reflecting your own values and beliefs, and let your business and systems develop unintentionally—which may seriously impact your vision for growth—or you can get out of your own way by being fully aware, present and intentional, allowing for major progress to happen. To be fully aware, you need to know what you stand for and how those values show up in your business every day, in every way.

It comes down to this simple formula:

Knowing myself = leading myself more effectively = leading my business to fulfill its vision

Aristotle said “knowing yourself is the beginning of all wisdom.” It starts with you, but if you don't know to look into the mirror—or refuse to—then you've not done the foundation work necessary to even start growing your business. Self-Knowledge is the first and main ingredient to have a business you love leading and a life you love living.

To build the a thriving business that's a true reflection of you, examine your everyday values and beliefs. Are they serving you? Or are they getting in your way?
